On a fall hike in the North Carolina we came to Cliffside Lake with trees in various colors at the far end. I used a telephoto lens to reach out to the trees across the lake. Fortunately I brought a tripod so I could get a steady sharp picture. The composition of the color and the evergreen pines with the reflection was what I was trying to capture.
