Opera House in Moonlight

Sydney, Australia - 15 Feb 2025      See on Google Maps

I spent the afternoon into evening with a professional photographer who took me around Sydney to take street pictures. It was a lot of fun. At the end of the evening we were opposite the Sydney Opera House and the moon was full highlighting the white shell. Strangely all alone with this beautiful view.

I stopped down the aperture to extend the time of exposure. A long exposure meant a good picture of the Opera House but the downside was a fuzzy moon. A better strategy would be to have a second shot of the moon and merge the two shots. Still it is a photograph that I like.
