A fan takes a photo of the light work of the "band" Clockwork at SxSW. The technopop bands (DJs) were pretty big on the light effects during their music.

During my assignment as a photographer at SxSW I was assigned to the techno-pop venue for an introduction to that genre. The music and lights were very heavy and loud - the crowd very energetic and responsive to the beat and the lights. While i took may photographs of the bands, I like this one as a concert goer take a photo of the action. With a limited depth of focus on the phone the band and lights are out of focus and provide a great blurred abstract for a background
