One morning a hawk landed on the support for one of our feeders. He did not seem to bother the other birds.
A Little Big for the Feeder

This guy landed on the bird feeder in the backyard - he really did not take much interest in the feeder. Just sat there. Gave me time to get the camera, change lenses, and take several shots. Until I set up the tripod - then he left. It was very still around the yeard until he left.
I used the 100-400 at max and handheld so not quite as sharp as I would like.
