On a business trip in Santa Barbara I woke early and took time to watch the sun come up. We were at the Doubletree and I climbed to the balcony of the hotel to take this shot. It is a High Dynamic Range (HDR) photo made of three photos.
The lights on the horizon on the right are oil derricks, the boats are moored and just floating off shore.
